Ryan broke his collar bone on the first play of the last football game of the season. Ouch!

Enjoyed time with the family at Cantigny Park: strolled the beautiful fall gardens, climbed the cannons, toured the McCormick house, and visited the First Division Museum.

 Mississippi Palisades

One day we headed to the Mississippi Palisades State Park, then crossed the bridge into the only island city in Iowa: Sabula (affectionately called "sa-BOO-la").

 At the lookout, we saw eagles in the sky and a train in the valley.

 Old and young both have a desire to acquire the biggest stick. However, this stick was too big even for these two to carry.

Nathan's Baseball Highlights

 Nathan played baseball this year. Nathan enjoyed a variety of positions including pitcher and catcher. He learned a lot from his coaches and has learned to be more confident when up to bat. He's improved a lot this season!
